About Me

I am an undergraduate mathematics major at the University of Texas at Austin.

My interests lie in generative AI and theory of neural networks! I learn and utilize a lot of pure math and physics for understanding topics in deep learning, such as computer vision, generative AI, and graph neural networks.

Research Experience:

I am part of a group researching computational topology and geometry in mesh generation under Dr. Qixing Huang. We have published in the Forty-First International Conference on Machine Learning (ICML 2024) and plan on continuing work from this project for next year.

I spent the summer of 2025 at Aalto University participating in the Aalto Science Institute International Summer Research Programme under Dr. Vikas K. Garg. The primary focus of my research was in algebraic geometry and computational topology techniques applied to graph neural networks.

Math:

I am taking a reading course under Dr. Joseph Kileel in applied algebraic geometry, focusing on the books Algebraic Geometry and Ideals, Varieties and Algorithms.

I am auditing a course on the Mathematics in Deep Learning under Dr. Yen-Hsi Richard Tsai.

I am taking a graduate research course in Analytic Group theory under Dr. Lewis Bowen.

Physics:

I am taking the graduate preliminary course Quantum Physics 1 under Dr. Nick Hunter-Jones. This is a standard course in the graduate physics curriculum. We will potentially cover Quantum Information Science and Quantum Computing topics in this course.
